At the beginning of the production Zündapp and BMW delivered their heavy military bikes with different speedometers.
The first speedometers of the Zündapp KS 750 still have a speed indication up to 120 Km.
In this version the digits are
on the inside of the speedometer glass.
VEIGEL had the same speedometer with the digits on the speedometer itself.
The range is 1.0 and is stamped on the backside same as the year of production, for example 2.42.
The first BMW R75 delivered have a VEIGEL speedometer up to 140 Km.
The displayed speed of this speedometer was then reduced to 100 Km.
The companies
VDO and Veigel produced them as standard speedometers with a
displayed speed of 100 km from the end of 1942.
They were used for Zündapp KS 750
as well as BMW R 75.
The digits are on the inside of the speedometer glass.
Standard Speedometer
The VDO tropical speedometer was the same version for the BMW R75 and Zündapp KS 750.
The special thing about it is the conduct of the speedometer needle and the KM counter.
It was not used so often.
This speedometer we do not have in stock anymore.
